Moodus Righteous Studios is an independent animation studio based in the UK, founded by siblings Ben and Ellen. We create bold, character-driven animated work that blends dark comedy, social satire, and heart — stories rooted in lived experience, community, and the absurdity of modern life.

Our work is driven by a belief that animation isn’t just for escapism — it’s a powerful way to question systems, explore identity, and tell stories that might be harder to confront in live action. We’re particularly drawn to themes around work, technology, class, and resilience, using humour and heightened worlds to reflect real human experiences.

Alongside client work in 2D animation, graphics, and motion design, we’re developing original IP with a strong authorial voice. Our flagship project, The Blib Factory, is an adult animated series exploring a near-future London where AI automation has taken over the job market, forcing people to compete in brutal trials just to stay employed.

As a small studio, we value collaboration, flexibility, and creative integrity. We work with writers, directors, animators, and performers who care deeply about storytelling and aren’t afraid to take risks. Our aim is to build work that’s entertaining, distinctive, and emotionally honest — while remaining ambitious in scope and execution.

Moodus Righteous Studios is PACT registered and a member of Animation UK. We’re always open to meaningful collaborations, mentorship, and conversations with creatives who share our curiosity and drive.
